Team Leader
The Team Leader is a level 3 apprenticeship delivered remotely over 12 months that focuses on the knowledge, skills and fundamental behaviours to propel your professional career and include an optional industry award/certificate.

Eligibility
Anyone can take this course including employers/owners, directors and both existing and newly recruited staff, as long as long as the below critera are met:
• You must be a limited company with a PAYE scheme in place
• Aged 16+ (no upper age limit) and based in England
• Staff ideally contracted or offering a contract of a minimum 30 hours pw
• From overseas? right to public funds i.e. a visa or settlement scheme
*Staff can enrol on contracts as low as 16 hours pw. However, for every hour under 30, will result in an increase to the programme duration.

On completion of this apprenticeship standard you will achieve:
• Advanced Team Leader Level 3 standardÂ
• (Optional) Chartered Management Institute award level 3 Â
Suitability
List of the 14 responsibilities that your employee either already has, or can be given at some point during the programme to be able to capture the mandatory competency evidence required to complete the apprenticeship. You MUST either have or be given, line management responsibilities for at least 2 members of staff.

Cost
• Aged under 22: 100% government-funded (Training is free)
• Aged 22 and over: 95% government funded. Resulting in a 5% employer contribution. (No upper age limit)Â
Progression Options
Upon completion of the apprenticeship, staff can enrol on a further apprenticeship, as long as their job position and responsibilities match the evidence required to complete it. To check this, click the ‘suitability’ tab.

The Team Leader level 3 apprenticeship would suit staff that are both new to management or existing that haven’t had any formal training. The program covers everything from managing a project to fundamental leadership skill.Â
The USP, is that this programme covers all the fundamental leadership skills, applied in the workplace through actual business projects, giving additional value to the company. The apprenticeship also includes the option to bolt-on the CMI level 3 award for those staff that want to go the extra mile to attaining this prestigious accolade; whilst offering the flexibility for others to focus purely on the apprenticeship, resulting in the programme being more manageable around their day to day job. The apprenticeship is designed to challenge you, ultimately requiring you to have an interview on competency elements of your portfolio of work based evidence, followed by a scenario based test, putting your newly learnt skills to practise. Â
Each of your staff will be allocated an industry expert tutor to support you remotely 121, which According to our employer and learner feedback, is the main benefit of our apprenticeship offering.Â

Upon completion, the employer will have the option to progress you onto our Operations / Departmental Management apprenticeship, that focuses on strategy, advanced leadership, and project management to continue your career development journey.Â
