On completion or this programme you will achieve:
- Content Creator Level 3 apprenticeship standard (equivalent to 2 x A-levels & subsequent UCAS points)
Suitability
List of the 10 duties that your employee either already has, or can be given at some point during the programme to be able to capture the mandatory competency evidence required to complete the apprenticeship.

Duties
- Duty 1 Plan and develop creative content in line with the brief and budget/costs.
- Duty 2 Interpret the strategy and objectives of the brand and align these to the content.
- Duty 3 Research, prepare and develop the media messaging to maximise audience engagement.
- Duty 4 Develop and create written content that can be used across a variety of media.
- Duty 5 Create visual and audio content that can be used across a variety of media.
- Duty 6 Store content securely and methodically to enable efficient access and retrieval.
- Duty 7 Collaborate with colleagues and clients to plan and align content delivery with business objectives.
- Duty 8 Manage content online using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Duty 9 Evaluate the effectiveness of the content produced against the original plan and recommend improvements.
- Duty 10 Undertake continuous professional development to keep up-to-date with trends and technology
Resources/tools needed:

- Canva (Free Subscription, or if possible, access to the Pro Subscription for £12.99 per month. This gives learner access to wider range of content for inputs on preparing presentations, design and video editing.)
- Google Analytics (Free)
- Google Tag Manager (Free) – Code snippets should ideally already be implemented on the learner’s company website to allow for tracking and analysis
- Google Adwords (Free)
- Facebook Ads Manager (Free – but if company were willing to allow learner a small social media budget to test campaigns, that would be beneficial)
- Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint
- If possible, access to the CMS system which manages the learner’s company website. This might not be possible for all companies, but would be useful for particular inputs on website structure and content management.
Delivery & EPA

EPA: Campaign evaluation report or project accompanied by a presentation with questions & answers. Professional discussion to assess learner knowledge, skills & behaviours accompanied by a portfolio of evidence gathered throughout the course.

Cost
- Aged under 22: 100% government-funded (training is free)

Progression

The Content Creator level 3 apprenticeship would suit staff that already have or would like the responsibility for developing and creating content that can be used across a variety of media platforms. Candidates would only need access to freely available software and tools and Ideally have a basic understandings of Microsoft packages and an interest in Marketing, Business, ICT and/or Media. It is ideal for companies that want to create a better online presence or sharpen-up their existing digital presence.
In summary, this programme looks at the development of strategies for creating written and audio-visual content for use as part of media, advertising and marketing campaigns, by capturing the objectives of the brand and the needs of the customer or business. The learner would focus on developing visual content using available tools (static images and video content), and written content using SEO techniques, as well as research, planning and preparation of campaigns and post campaign analysis.
The training will include developing brand awareness, content creation tools, content writing, audio and visuals, interpreting briefs, pitching ideas, analysis, collaboration, regulations and campaign monitoring/evaluation. This is delivered and supported by out expert tutor on either a 121 or group model, which according to our employers and learner feedback, is the main benefit of the apprenticeship. Upon completion, KTA would be happy to help them explore progression options such as a Level 3 Digital Marketing or Level 3 Team Leader, should they start take on responsibilities for other staff and ultimately continue their career development journey.
