Empowering Professional Development Through Apprenticeships

At Knights Training Academy, we’re proud to support professionals at every stage of their career. Today, we celebrate the success of one of our recent graduates—a Director at a thriving estate agency—who completed the Sales Executive Level 4 apprenticeship while balancing the demands of a senior leadership role.

Despite a hectic work schedule, they successfully completed their End Point Assessment and are now eagerly awaiting their certificate to progress toward NAEA membership and further qualifications.

Flexibility That Fits Around the Day Job

When asked how the apprenticeship worked around their professional commitments, they shared:

“Broadly, the setup was quite forgiving. While there were clear expectations around Off The Job Training Hours, I was never pressured to prioritise the apprenticeship over my day job. If anything, I put more pressure on myself!”

This flexibility was key to their success, allowing them to maintain high standards in their role while steadily progressing through the programme.

Tutor Support That Made a Difference

The learner’s experience with their tutor was a turning point in their journey. After a rocky start, they found the right fit with Daniel:

“Daniel was a breath of fresh air. He respected my time, adapted to my preference for written work, and didn’t try to be my friend—he was my tutor, and that’s exactly what I needed.”

This tailored approach helped the learner stay focused and productive, making the most of every session.

Learning That Translates to Real-World Confidence

One of the standout learning moments came from the construction and defects module:

“I’m much more confident now when buyers point out potential defects. I don’t shy away from those conversations anymore—though I always follow up with ‘I’m not a surveyor, so I can’t really comment!’”

This new knowledge has empowered them to engage more confidently with clients and provide better service.

Impact on Career and Future Aspirations

Already a Director, the learner found that the apprenticeship still added significant value:

“The qualification has given me added confidence in my role. It’s reinforced my expertise and made me more eager to pursue further qualifications.”

Why Knights Training Academy?

When asked if they’d recommend Knights Training Academy, the answer was clear:

“Absolutely. But you have to want to do it—it’s a big commitment if your heart’s not in it.”

They highlighted three key advantages of the apprenticeship route:

  • Access to a dedicated tutor via video call
  • Flexible course delivery
  • Ability to fit learning around the day job

Life After the Apprenticeship

Since completing the programme, the learner has reclaimed valuable time and is already planning their next steps:

“The main impact? I’ve got a big chunk of time back! 😂 But seriously, my confidence has grown, and I’m keen to go ahead and gain further qualifications.”

Conclusion

This success story is a testament to how apprenticeships can support even the most senior professionals in achieving their goals. With the right support, flexibility, and commitment, learning can fit seamlessly into a busy career—and lead to even greater achievements.

Congratulations on your success, and we look forward to seeing what’s next!
