Celebrating Success: Karisma Harvey and the Impact of the Housing & Property Management Level 3 Apprenticeship

At our apprenticeship training provider, we are dedicated to cultivating talent and empowering our apprentices to achieve their career goals. Today, we are thrilled to celebrate the success of Karisma Harvey, a shining example of what can be accomplished through hard work, dedication, and the right training. Karisma, a Tenancy Manager, recently completed our Housing & Property Management Level 3 apprenticeship, transforming her role and career trajectory.

From Knowledge to Empowerment

Before embarking on her apprenticeship, Karisma navigated the complexities of tenancy management, relying heavily on her growing experience. However, the structured learning offered through the apprenticeship has been pivotal in expanding her industry knowledge. Karisma shared,

“From starting this apprenticeship, I have gained a wider knowledge of the industry that I wouldn’t have been able to gain through the job itself in my role. This has allowed me to pick up more responsibility, like taking ownership of chasing arrears and rental reviews and aiding the operations team with any reactive maintenance.”

The practical skills and insights she acquired have not only boosted her confidence but have also enabled her to take on additional responsibilities, ultimately leading to a promotion within Pegasus Homes.

A Pathway to Progression

Karisma’s story is a testament to how apprenticeships can pave the way for career advancement. She noted,

“This has already led to a promotion of my role from a coordinator position to a manager position and has opened up opportunities for more growth in the future.”

The training has equipped her with the skills needed to excel in her new managerial role and provided her with a foundation to envision further progression, potentially into higher leadership roles or other exciting ventures, such as starting her own business.

The Role of Pegasus Homes

This journey would not have been possible without the support of Pegasus Homes, who wisely utilised their apprenticeship levy funds to invest in their workforce. By prioritising training and development, Pegasus Homes has set a benchmark for industry standards, demonstrating a commitment to employee growth and excellence.

Conclusion

Karisma Harvey’s success is a powerful reminder of the significant impact that apprenticeships can have on both individuals and organisations. Her journey from a coordinator to a manager not only highlights her dedication and hard work but also underscores the transformative power of continuous learning and professional development.

We are incredibly proud to have been a part of Karisma’s journey and look forward to seeing her achieve even greater heights in her career. Congratulations, Karisma, on your well-deserved success!
